I started out as an illustration major at the University of Arizona. I took a few design classes here and there, but it wasn't until finishing my commitment to Teach For America, that I decided to make a career out of my love for design.
I began in publishing, designing books and packaging. That experience led naturally into the production side of entertainment. When you can design and build a 200-page book, you can easily build a mechanical for key art or outdoor.
As a freelancer, I work with clients big and small. I pride myself with being able to transition easily from project to project, keep on deadline and exceed my client's expectations, all with a positive attitude.
I'm lucky that my downtime is spent with my husband and adorable preschooler. With a three-year-old and one on the way, every day is a new adventure. With my time, I love crafting with my daughter, getting our noses stuck in a book and illustrating for my little shop, Addie Bear.
